Handcrafted Delicious Duo – fine wine and McCrea's caramels
Wine and fine caramels are both delicious, but when properly paired, they become something truly extraordinary. Join us for a relaxing evening of sweet indulgence as we sip six Debevino wines specially chosen to accompany the flavors of artisanal caramels from Boston’s McCrea’s Candies.
Appreciate why Pinot Noir complements deep chocolate caramel while a sweeter Riesling pairs ideally with ginger fusion caramel, and more. In addition to the caramels, light caramel hors d'oeuvres and nibbles will be provided.
The class will be co-led by a Debevino vintner and a caramel confectioner.

Rozzi Rosé paired with Cape Cod Sea Salt caramel and a mini tartlet of Cape Cod Sea Salt caramel with balsamic-glazed strawberries
Riesling paired with Ginger Fusion caramel and an hors d'oeuvre of pear topped with mascarpone cheese and pearl of Ginger Fusion caramel, dusted with cardamom and cinnamon
Pinot Noir paired with Deep Chocolate caramel and a canape of water cracker topped with sour cherry Jam, gorgonzola dolce, and sliced Deep Chocolate caramel
Malbec paired with Tapped Maple caramel and a black mission fig stuffed with bead of Tapped Maple caramel
Zinfandel paired with Rosemary Truffle Sea Salt caramel and a sundried tomato stuffed with Rosemary Truffle Sea Salt caramel rolled in cracked black pepper & herbs de Provence
